What does it take to build a community? People? Time? Money? These are valuable resources which might not be available due to circumstance. We need to have an idea, an inspiration, a moment so childlike and naive to pursue the dream.
'It is just a game but more than a game.'
The above is my perspective on MtG as a whole. Unravel it with your own unique take on the game.
Hi, Sebastian here. I created this site as a hobby and to share information from my experience playing MtG. I have concerns on the game we love and this is a way to convey my thoughts to create a better environment for players old and new.
I do believe we have similar communities around the world but weed grows everywhere. Real life MtG, referred to as 'Paper', differs from online, referred to as 'MtGO'. Paper involves making contact with another fellow player whereas we face a screen on MtGO. We leave an impression on other players for Paper due to being able to see face to face. How we behave, our etiquette, the composure. MtGO? Keyboard warriors more than men. If we are going to change the world, we will need to do our part and not ruin the fun of others. Spread the love and it will be up to them on sharing. It is not a given so do not expect. We can control ourselves but not others.
